Before starting Nationwide Workers Comp Solutions (Nationwide WC), our Founder started his insurance career when he created Frederick Insurance Group as a full-service independent P&C insurance agency. At its peak his agency represented over ten of the countries largest private insurers and had a staff of eight licensed agents with a client roster of well over 2,000 clients spanning from commercial risks to personal insurance needs. In 2021 an unsolicited buyout offer came from a national conglomerate and at that time he sold his interest in the agency that he had grown to focus solely on providing innovative, convenient, and affordable workers compensation solutions to a diverse group of clients.
During his time working with commercial clients the same problem kept holding back what would be an otherwise cohesive coverage package; poor access to acceptable workers comp insurance! The state fund policies are generally mediocre in coverage, extremely costly, and require lengthy contracts along with cumbersome annual audits. Private policies were a significant improvement to state fund policies, however they were highly discriminatory with the industry and employee make-up. This is when Nationwide Workers Comp Solutions was started with the objective to address the needs of his own and other agents’ clients who were in need of a one stop shop for adequate workers compensation coverage.
Since its founding, Nationwide Workers Comp Solutions’ goal has been to offer innovative workers comp solutions through a carefully curated selection of exclusive programs which provide the least expensive and most appropriate workers compensation coverage on the market designed to exceed that which is available through the state pools or private carrier industry.
